Red Catuai is a special Arabica coffee variety that was developed in Brazil in the 1960s. It is a cross between the Mundo Novo and Caturra varieties. The name "Catuai" comes from the vocabulary of the Brazilian indigenous people and means something like "very good" or "happy coffee."
